About Me

My husband believes our cat is a french spy. I love big sunglasses. I like to pretend I have red hair when I don't. I wish I could stay focused. I can't stop watching zombie movies, reading Jane Austen, and buying  vintage boots. That, at least, is the short of it.

I was born and raised in Indiana (Boiler Up!). My family after a brief and heated sabbatical in Houston, Texas moved back to Indiana. During which time, I fell in love with the most wonderful man I could imagine and got married. So I am here and my fam is there, and not as often as I'd like I get to go home to see them.

As far as education goes, My bachelor's is in photojournalism at University of North Texas (Go Eagles, er... I mean Mean Green) which is where I met my man. Then, I went to the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana. There I met amazing people who wanted to do exactly what I wanted to do...shoot pictures. Now, I am in grad school working my way through a Curriculum and Instruction degree so I can go teach the kiddos.

In the spare time...I read bunches, write, watch movies, crochet, journal, doodle, cuddle with my husband, go to concerts, run (sometimes), attempt to sew, and sing at the top of my lungs (when alone in a car).

Any questions?
